Privacy & Cookies Policy
Updated: 26 July 2026
This page explains how welkoma.com (the Welkoma platform landing page) handles your data. The site operator and recipient of form data is the Welkoma platform team; the legal entity details will be published here before commercial launch. For any data questions write to hello@welkoma.com.
What data we process
Website forms: name, email or Telegram handle and shop type - only what you enter yourself in the pilot application or demo request.
Technical logs: like any hosting, the web server briefly records IP addresses and request parameters - for protection against attacks and troubleshooting.
Browser storage: see the Cookies and browser storage section below. There are no hidden trackers on the site.
Why and on what legal basis
Responding to your application and discussing the pilot program - steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The demo and emails you requested - your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.
Site security and operation (logs) - our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep data
Application data - while the conversation is ongoing, but no longer than 12 months after the last contact if cooperation has not started. If you withdraw consent, we delete it immediately.
Who we share data with
We do not sell data or share it for third-party marketing. Technical processors: the hosting provider (servers in the EU) and Cloudflare (DNS). If we ever add web analytics, it will run only after your explicit consent in the banner.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request access to your data, a copy, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and object to processing. Write to hello@welkoma.com - we reply within 30 days.
You may also lodge a complaint with your EU data protection authority; in Czechia this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).
Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no advertising, analytics or third-party cookies. It only uses your browser's local storage - these entries never leave your device and are not sent to us:
- vd_lang - the page language you chose;
- vd_leads - a local copy of the forms you submitted;
- vd_consent - a note that you have seen the cookie notice;
- vd_exit_shown - a note that the demo pop-up was already shown (until the tab closes).
If web analytics (e.g. GA4) is ever added, it will be enabled only after your consent - the banner will ask separately.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes, we will update this page and the date above. Substantial changes will be announced on the main page.
